Exciting News from Clee Bowls Club! New Social Bowls Leagues

We’re delighted to launch two brand new Social Leagues this season — open to all members, whether you're new to the game or a long-time player. These leagues are a great way to enjoy friendly competition, meet fellow members, and have some fun on the green.

Each league is scored separately, with its own fixtures, leaderboard, and prizes — so feel free to join one or both!

League Format (applies to both Weekday and Weekend Leagues):

• 10 matches across the season

• All matches held at Clee Bowls Club, Cleethorpes

• Match fee: £3 per game

• Teams drawn at random before each match

• Played under EBA Rules (3 woods)

• Each game lasts 90 minutes

• Your top 5 match scores count towards the final leaderboard

• Prizes awarded to the Winner and Runner-up in each league

Presentation Night – Save the Date!

To wrap up the season, we’ll be hosting a Presentation Night on Friday 5th September at the clubhouse. It’s set to be a fantastic evening of celebration, with awards, refreshments, and plenty of good cheer. Whether you’ve played every match or just a few, come along and join in the fun as we toast the season’s highlights and honour our league champions.
