Green Open Hours - Have a Crack at Bowls: Clee Bowls Club Welcomes New Players!

Are you looking for a fun, social activity that's gentle on the body but big on laughs? Then look no further than Clee Bowls Club! We're throwing open our doors and inviting you to give bowls a go – completely free!

That's right, no experience necessary! Whether you're a seasoned athlete or haven't touched a ball since school, we welcome everyone to come down and discover the joys of bowls. It's a fantastic way to:

• Get some gentle exercise: Bowls is a surprisingly active game that gets you outdoors and moving. It's a great way to improve your balance, coordination, and overall fitness in a low-impact way.
• Meet new people: Our club is a vibrant social hub filled with friendly faces. Bowls is a great way to make new friends, chat with neighbours, and become part of a welcoming community.
• Learn a new skill: There's more to bowls than just rolling a ball! We'll teach you the basics of grip, stance, and delivery, and you'll be surprised at how quickly you can pick it up.
• Have some laughs!: Bowls is a fun and social game, and there's always plenty of laughter on the green. It's a great way to de-stress, unwind, and forget about the worries of the day.

Here's what you can expect at our free taster session:

• A warm welcome from our friendly club members.
• A short introduction to the game of bowls, covering the basics of equipment and techniques.
• The chance to try your hand at bowling on our green.
• Plenty of time to ask questions and get to know the club.

Don't worry about bringing anything! We'll provide all the bowls and equipment you need. Just wear comfortable clothing and flat shoes suitable for bowling on a green.
